GSG Welcomes Six New Faces
We’ve been rapidly expanding of late, and this month is no different, as we welcome six new talents to the GSG ranks.
Lauren Amaio, Associate, Digital, New York
Lauren joins GSG from Bauza and Associates where she was a Social Media Manager. Prior to this, Lauren worked as the Social Media Coordinator at GlobalWorks, where she specialized in brands with multilingual and cultural backgrounds.
Julie Cabrera, Communications Manager, Hartford
Julie is a storyteller. Prior to joining GSG, she was the Communications Manager of Pratt & Whitney’s engineering department, where she ran communications to support business objectives. She also used her art of weaving a tale to create and implement messages that would resonate with their targeted demographic.
Theresa Gilbert, Communications Manager, Hartford
Theresa’s expertise lies in crisis communications planning and response, and she’s seen her fair share. Theresa spent many years working as a Communications and Media Relations Specialist for Northeast Utilities’ largest subsidiary, Connecticut Light & Power. In fact, in 2011 when Connecticut was battered by multiple record breaking storms, Theresa helped lead response efforts. She then went on to revise the communications crisis response plan, and vastly improved their performance with future storms.
Chloe Sarnoff, Associate, Communications, New York
After being a proud GSG Intern, Chloe has joined the Communications team where she assist in communications strategy and media relations. Chloe recently graduated from Duke University where she studied Public Policy and Policy Journalism.
Maura Tracy, Associate, Grassroots, New York
Maura joins GSG from the glitz and glamour of being a Senior Staffer on a high profile New York City Mayoral campaign. Prior to this, she worked for the DCCC in Illinois’s 10thcongressional district. Additionally, Maura has directed many field campaigns for congressional races throughout the country.
Emily Williams, Director, Digital + Social, New York
Emily has spent nearly a decade in digital strategy, advertising and marketing. She brings her know-how from Blueprint Interactive, where she was the Vice President in charge of the strategy and execution of digital marketing campaigns. Prior to this, Emily was the Online Advertising Campaign Manager for Obama for America.
