Lauren Amaio has always loved to talk, whether it be telling a story or explaining why Starbucks is better than Dunkin Donuts to any crowd willing to listen. She has Kitty McCallister (and countless episodes of Brothers and Sisters) to thank for inspiring her to take this passion to the next level and develop a career in communications.
At GSG, Lauren supports the digital practice through research, strategic planning, and implementation, all while keeping a global mindset. Previously, Lauren worked in multicultural advertising where she helped clients effectively communicate with the general and Hispanic markets through digital and social media. Lauren has adopted the cultural nuances of several regions across Europe, Central, and South America, and is proficient in Spanish.
When she’s not at her laptop, Lauren can be found taking zumba classes or escaping to Spain through the nearest tapas restaurant. A proud Husky, Lauren graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She was recently named one of PR News’ Rising Stars 30 and under in 2015.
