While Rebecca Shaughnessy has long had a passion for politics, it was not until her sophomore year of college that she was introduced to the world of data. Fascinated by the narratives that data can tell, Rebecca chose to design and field several survey experiments as a part of her undergraduate research, most recently examining how exposure to The Daily Show and other forms of political satire can affect political attitudes.
As a member of the Research team, Rebecca builds on her experience in conducting data analysis and research for political, non-profit, and corporate clients.
In 2015, Rebecca received a degree in Politics from Princeton University, graduating with honors. Prior to GSG, Rebecca worked on the Government Affairs team at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and performed market research at the tech-software company, Atlassian.
As former president of Princeton’s belly dancing group, Rebecca loves to dance in her free time, in addition to binge-watching shows on Netflix and cooking any recipe by the Barefoot Contessa.
