New Additions at GSG
We are pleased to announce four new additions to our team:
Dana Yeganian, Senior Vice President, New York.
Dana will lead communications and public affairs campaigns and focus on overseeing client engagements and business development. She comes to GSG from Capstrat – part of the Ketchum/Omnicom network in Raleigh, North Carolina – where she served as an EVP/MD for client services, overseeing the firm’s practice areas in public affairs, energy, health care, technology and professional services. In her role, she managed crisis communications, public relations, public affairs, marketing and advertising campaigns.
Andrew Baumann, Vice President, Denver.
Andrew is an experienced strategist and opinion researcher who, in addition to some of the country’s top Senate and Congressional races, has advised numerous climate and energy advocacy groups, as well as corporate clients. Based in Denver, he will also help lead GSG’s new business efforts in the Western U.S. Prior to joining GSG, Baumann most recently spent eight years at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research.
Joseph Shields, Vice President, New York, Washington, DC.
Joe joins GSG after serving as a trusted executive and counsel for governors in New York and New Jersey where he led agencies and spearheaded initiatives across sectors, impacting complex matters of policy. In addition to his public sector stewardship, he developed and ran his own public affairs practice where he managed strategic communications, grassroots, grass tops and coalition building for clients navigating matters at all levels of government and policy.
Angela Kuefler, Director, Washington DC.
Angela brings significant experience advising political candidates, issue advocacy campaigns, ballot initiatives, and corporations. She has done extensive political work in the Midwest, and is a seasoned expert in the education, gun violence, and health care spaces. Prior to joining GSG, Kuefler was a researcher at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and held multiple roles at Teach For America (TFA) and their affiliated organization, Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE).
