Andrew Serrano

Andrew brings a passion for politics and a wealth of experience in the government and nonprofit sectors to GSG, where he works on data analysis and message development for political, non-profit, and corporate clients.

Andrew began his career as a public school teacher in Texas through Teach For America. He left teaching to work in government and served as a legislative policy adviser in the Texas House of Representatives, where he played an integral role in moving multiple pieces of legislation through the House and Senate. In addition to his past work experience, Andrew has interned on Capitol Hill and at the White House.

Andrew grew up in Odessa, Texas and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He went on to earn a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from Georgetown University and a Master’s in Education Policy and Management (Ed.M.) from Harvard. Andrew currently lives in New York and can be found acting like a tourist on weekends in various parts of Manhattan.
