As a healthcare industry defector, Gavan Driscoll seeks to mold his experiences with evidence-based medicine into evidence-based public affairs. His past experiences include positions in the public, private, and academic sectors.
Gavan interned with the NYC Department of Health and served for a year with Americorps at a federally-qualified health center. For his graduate practicum, Gavan compared clinical trial simulations at the French Cochrane Centre in Paris. He arrived to GSG from the health-tech startup Oscar Health, where he was an Operations Analyst.
Gavan is a proud New Jersey native who enjoys alternate history novels and computer gaming. He graduated with his BS in Public Health from Rutgers University and his MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University, where he was also an editor for the Columbia Medical Review.
