Elected class president for five consecutive years in grade school, the political bug bit Karolina early on and never let go. Naturally, she pursued master’s and bachelor’s degrees in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a focus on civic leadership, and moved straight to D.C. after graduation.
She has worked at the state and federal levels of government for most of this decade and applies her expertise dealing with public sector challenges to her work with clients at GSG.
Most recently, Karolina served at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs as part of the Obama Administration and worked on a range of issues including Open Enrollment, Zika and women’s health.
When she’s not working, Karolina can be found hiking, traveling, and passionately defending small dog breeds; she firmly believes that the smaller and fluffier the dog, the better.
