Marjorie McCarthy is responsible for the strategic vision and execution of GSG’s marketing initiatives with external stakeholders, as well as the company’s new business development efforts.
Marjorie is passionate about building great brands and connecting them with the right audiences. In this capacity, she has spent the last 15 years developing and executing successful marketing programs and communications campaigns for both large, heavily-matrixed organizations as well as rapidly-scaling, high growth companies, across multiple continents.
Before joining GSG, Marjorie managed communications for a digital education product for a major multinational in India, built the Council on Foreign Relations’ Outreach program, and ran advocacy campaigns for U.S. trade and business policy issues throughout the Americas.
Marjorie earned an MS in Global Affairs and International Business from the Center for Global Affairs at New York University, where she has served as a member of the Alumni Board. She received a BA in History from Pomona College.
Marjorie is particularly passionate about public education, electing women leaders, being Texan, and breakfast tacos. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, son and daughter.
